inanimate/golem-regeneration?

i know certain units cannot benefit from regen. are inanimates/golems one of them?

If you have an N9+ bless, and the inanimate is blessed (possibly through the use of a sacred shroud), then they regenerate. Outside of that, you'd have to rely on something like soul vortex or life drain weapons/spells for healing.

Inanimate/Lifeless units, such as the Golem, are indeed ones that cannot benefit from Limited Regeneration, which is all forms of regeneration apart from the Nature 9 bless.

But this will change in Dominions 5, for the record, from what I've gathered. Nothing will let non-undead inanimate/lifeless regenerate in Dom5, while undead get their own form of true regeneration bless. From Death rather than Nature, of course.

At least as far as I am aware. But I am but a Bad Advice Monolith.

There is also a regen bless added for inanimate/lifeless, coming from Earth. Because there is now this kind of feature, it could be that a late game "advanced regeneration" spell or item could be made which has all three effects together, or items/spells which only apply to undead or inanimates. I have not heard of such a thing existing, but there is the potential for it.

Last I heard that bless only removed the 'Does Not Heal' part of sacred inanimates/lifeless, but did not provide regeneration or allowed regeneration. But my info could be a bit out of date in that regard. A shame too, as I for one will miss regenerating MA Agartha statues.

Regenerating MA Agartha statues with an artillery of earthquake mages is pure BS if you ask me =P so I'm happy those days are gone.
