[Solved] Hey Illwinter! Got that game on Desura -> how do i get the steam key

Tried several times to contact you guys.
i can give you any info you need, every email about the buying process on desura.
i just dont know how to get my steam key since desura closed their website. I didnt play for about 2 years, thats why i did not get any info before it closed.

i hope you can help me, i have COE 3+4, too.

Windows registry should have your key.

No. It's external file dom4key in the game dir.

But if you have Desura key, it will work for activation too. It's the same.

I also bought the game on Desura. In Win7, the Dom4key file in your Appdata/Roaming/Dominions4 folder

So you lost the game, you lost the receipt and the retailer closed down? Sounds like you would be out of luck with 99.99% of the businesses in the world.

@Mormacil No. I´ve got -all- receipts. from Desura and from PayPal. i´ve posted on Desura Forums, i have same Username here and there. i mailed one of the guys several times, will try info@iillwinter now. thanks malavolpe.

Glad to see they helped ya. They helped me with a CoE3 steam error a long while ago. I can't wait to see what illwinter does next cause CoE4 was damn good.
