It's from a anime / light novel. Kinda like sword art online but with a undead skeleton mage as "evil" MC who slowly conquers the "new world".

Where do i find mods, there is no workshop
No don't think so but i haven't got a clue how customizable the game is so that's what i'm asking.
In Overlord the MC arrives as a gamer in a new living medieval style world after staying online in a virtual mmorpg after the servers shutdown. Has acces to all kinds of type of fantasy magic, and commands primilay undead, demons, ... as his army.
So if this is possible in vanilla i'd like to know.
As for modding something more close to the show/book/manga, anyone can do it with the manual and some patience. As you probably know already, the game uses sprites, so at least you don't need to make 3d models for mods. You might want to ask in the modding section or in dom4mods for tips and such once you read the modding manual.
As a sidenote, provinces you conquer give you access to that province's troops (usually, rarely you'll get random independant mages mixed with the usual defenses that you can't recruit there) with the exception of troops of enemy nations (there might be a mod that lets you recruit from their capitals, IIRC, but don't quote me on that). So that's something that happens in the show that dominions does from the get-go.
For Mormacil: the nation would be an amalgamation of JRPG bad guys (undead, demons, vampires, lizardmen, mythological beasts...) lead by powerful heroes and something like a crazy strong lich pretender.
You could also go to the Dominions 4 section of the ModDb.
Many modders hang out and swap ideas in the Dominions 4 Mods[z7.invisionfree.com] forums, as well.
Overlord, at first an utterly usual isekai of that kind that has been super saturating the market for years now. Of course the satire on wastrels who use pay 2 win tactics was quite humorous and unique I think.
