So no permanent way the same way empowerment works?
1. Prophetize an Inca
2. Suicide him
3. Prophetize his mummy
I think that makes an H5 prophet in theory.
Please do not spread misinformation by theorycrafting without testing. Nazca mummification does not kill off the prophet, and thus none of that is possible.
What is theoretically possible, though not practically, is getting and keeping your (living) prophet on the Hall of Fame until you have Enchantment 7. Then suicide him such that he actually dies. At this point, he can be brought back as a mummy through the spell Ritual of Rebirth, and reprophetized after the necessary 6 month wait.
I... what? No.
The only priest spell that matters (aside from undead buffs) is Bless. Any H1 priest can cast that. Use multiple if you must.
Bless only works on sacred troops. There are not very many sacred troops. let me give you an example...
Kailasa, the monkey people in the early age. They have decent sacred troops and they are not too expensive, but... they have zero protection and die when sneezed at. This makes the "melee" ones useless. Then you have the archers. Dont really need protection but the monkey archers outperform them so no reason to bother getting them. Most of the monkey units have ranged attacks but their precision is terrible. It could be good, if you had a level 4 priest use their level 4 bless, AND if you have a pretender with very high air magic. Without that, monkeys become useless later in game. They are only useful in the beginning. After that, all monkey units become fodder. I could replace them with summoned monsters, but only til I use up all my gems. The only other option would be to have an army of commanders only. Thats very expensive.
I know. Other priest spells - aside from the national undead buffs - don't matter. They're irrelevant.
Oh yeah, misread it. nevermind.... those poor monkeys.
Did you see they have Awe? Enemies have to pass a morale check to attack them, which makes them surprisingly hardy in combat against normal troops. Against elite enemies with high morale they don't do so well though.
Yes, thats why I said they are only useful in the beginning. Once the enemy starts using better troops its game over for the monkeys... Or if I happen to start next to the giants... forget it.
