Favorite Wishes?

I think for me so far it was the Legion of Gods from the Unleash Imprisoned Ones spell.

The upside was it ate 6k AI longdeads for breakfast. The downside was it turned on me a few turns later and ate a couple thousand gems worth of thugs and wished for pretenders. Those were dark days.... Then it just kinda ran off, found a province it liked and decided no one else would ever be able to move through that province again.

What about you? What are your favorite Wishes?

Wishing for friends as an aquatic/amphibious nation is nasty. You teleport most of the population and units in a province to you, so unless you're up against a totally amphibious nation, you'll be killing everything in a random province.

I've only ever wished for Seraphs, though I haven't cast the spell many times.

Wish is fun in SP but its terribly ineffective I think. I only do it if I earn so many astral pearls from arcane nexus that I dont really know what to do with them, hence only in sp.

Besides the earlier mentioned marignon gets additional super strong SC's in magic enchanced which are probably worth wishing for as well.

Agent of the lord is one which is a super caster which domsummons invulnerable angels with 5 in awe. He also starts out each battle with having 5 angels under him already in communion with him as master.

Yeah, I've only cast Wish in MP when I've been sure that I'll win anyway. Then I might Wish for fun.

I suppose you could wish for the death of a pretender as well, although its probably never worth it either.

Armageddon spam doesn't just kill pop and armies. It kills players' wills to continue.

well there's precious little else that has that sort of 'doomsday weapon' feel

nothing else lets you mutter 'begin the sicarius protocol' to yourself and feel only mildly silly like activating multiple, simultaneous, and devastating armageddon strikes from the safety of your armoured forts

In magic enchanced you can awaken cthulhu as ma and la rlyeh with results you could expect.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that. I once wished to kill an enemy pretender and it ended up helping me greatly. He was relying heavily on his pretender to lead a massive army of summoned stuff and I cast the Wish at just the right time.

I'd say it's sometimes (very rarely) totally worth it.
