multiple endings?

So have played the demo and I love it. I was reading the update notes and I saw they mentioned two endings to the Luna house quest. IS there a way to get both endings? or would that need to be two different play throughs?

I have a feeling it has to do with the time machine but I tried a couple things and didn't figure it out yet so I'm not sure what you have to do .

Edit: It is in fact do-able via the time machine. You have to do something in the secret room before you leave Luna's house which will set a trap. Then you have to wait for morning again to get the new mail.
