Citizen recruitment quick guide

This guide focuses on the more difficult to obtain citizens. If you're stuck, this might help.

Bodybuilder (6th): Check the stickers on barbells. Talk to the bodybuilder about them. Swap the stickers. He'll tell you to pose. Quickly get behind the mirror with your head sticking out lining up with the bodybuilder's body. Stand still and wait a few seconds.

Handyman/Repairman (7th): Keeps fighting the elevator until it ejects you onto the floor with the citizen.

Gardener (9th): Use Pilot to get to Executive Retreat then head West. She is located in the middle of the big maze. Make your way to the middle and talk to her.

Lifeguard (11th): On the beach of Crystal Beach. Talk to her. Once you're under the sea head East and fight the giant squid.

Mascot (12th): His spirit does not regenerate health. Keep attacking it.

Sushi chef (14th): Recruit Lifeguard first. Kill the fishes for sushi. Bring 5 pieces back to him before they become spoiled.

Car saleman (17th): Race him. Use all your boosts. Run into a car. Fight it to get 3 more boosts. Keep your health up. Repeat.

Homeless oldman (18th): Give him money.

Pharmacist (20th): After talking to him the first time return to the bakery and grab that giant donut. Return to the pharmacist. Talk to him. When fighting him keep using the Run Away feature at the bottom of the menu (green boot symbol) until he becomes slim again.

Computer guy (21st): Find him at Eden Industries. Help him get rid of viruses. Once inside the VR head right then up. You should run into his avatar. Kill the viruses which are chasing after the avatar.

Captain (22nd): He is just North of the cookie factory at the dock with Ogorogo something sea monster. You must go to Camp Ko-Ko West of Home Town. Head North from there to another Camp Ko-Ko area. Head West to another area. Head South to the cookie factory. Basically you must go around the big lake. Fight the sea monster.

Yoga Instructor (24th): Find her at the gym. Best to recruit as early game as possible.

Kittylady (25th): Get to the required area. Look at your map.

Scientist (30th): Get the gardener first to gain access. Come to Whisper Woods when it's raining (use weather lady if you have her). It does not have to be a big rain, just raining is enough. You'll get a message from her. Put undead kitties to rest.

Weather lady (31st): Go to a city area where she is not present (to be safe) such as Home Town or Capital City and not the desert or snowy areas. Put down your keyboard/controller. Grab some popcorn and a movie. Check back an hour or two later. The key here is that you must be standing still for some times outside in the rain. DO NOT MOVE.

Alien (32nd): Finish the game. Go find him in Big Steppe, North side. Check your map.

Secretary (33rd): Finish the game. He is in the house south of the Bakery.

Farmer (35th): Find her in Glasslands. Talk to her. Wait or change to night time. Zone in and out if needed. Find and kill all Moo.F.O. SE, E, NE of the area. Talk to her again. Go to Appleton Farm. Talk to a Moo.F.O.. Return to the farmer.

Plumber (36th): Check your map for locations of flotsams. Go get them.

Firefighter (37th): Go inside that flooded building in Flushmoor. “Talk” to the boilers. You’ll see a dialogue and nothing really happens, but actually it works and the previously flooded rooms will be accessible. Find her at the bottom floor.

Beelady (39th): Go to required locations. Check your map.

Photon (40th): Finish the game. Come back to Moonbucks crash site. Jump down any hole. Make your way back to the portal to the North. Go around the portal, do not use it. Talk to the glowing orb. This citizen lets you speed up or slow down the game.
