Recruiting Pharmacist and Secritary?

Im trying to recruit the pharmacist but the door next to the capital moonbucks is locked, am I suppose to go somewhere else? I already got the giant doughnut. Also what are the "tasks" that I need to complete in order to get the secritary. Thanks for any help

Don't know about the secretary, but with the Pharmacist, you need to spam the RUN command. Basically he has to chase you Loony Toons style to loose weight.

I'm stuck on the Pharmacist as well. After you give him the giant doughnut, he complains about being overweight and then wants you to play-fight with him. I fought for over one hundred rounds with no avail. I am doing something wrong I believe. If anyone has any tips to slim down the Doc... please tell.

I just posted the answer, you have to constantly RUN, not fight, but use the run command at the bottom left corner of the screen.

You'll know when you can recruit the secretary, but i can't say much without spoiling some plot stuff.

Lol, interesting solution. I was also stuck on that battle, even allowed him to kill one of my characters thinking that would somehow do it. Would have never guessed the right action, but now it is so obvious. Thanks.
