Enter boton does not work!

I haven't played this game for years, the last time I played more than 200 hours...I just came back to play, and I couldn't find the save from the last time...okay; I started a new game, plowed two fields, and when I went to fill up with gas, the Enter button to open the menu didn't work... I went to the gas station and it didn't work there either... I uninstalled it and installed it again, several times. ..still not working...However, outside the game, the Enter button works normally...What to do? I ask for help because I would love to play again and so I can't...Thank you.
