Dragon Nest Europe

Dragon Nest Europe

EDIT:Unplayable because of FPS drops[Fixed]
Anyone else experiencing this?

EDIT:
Related to the Killer Network Drivers of MSI Gaming Motherboards.
Updating the driver fixed the problem

Things seem fine to me right now

Yeah, I get a little lag in big towns, but dungeons etc are fine, maybe try switching channels?
elStrages 11 Jan 2014 @ 9:21am
nope i got no lag.
Asa Shigure 11 Jan 2014 @ 9:59am
Hmm, channel switching might help
I've got no lag in towns, only in dungeons or instances

EDIT:
Changing channels did nothing.
It's kinda weird that it's only in dungeons or instances, but the town is completely lag free.

EDIT2:It's fps drops, horrible ones. Makes no sense with my setup.
I have a GTX 770, i7-4770k and 16gigs of ram.....

That's weird indeed, are you from europe? Did you do a latency test? I might be mistaken but instance dungeons are created as "separate entities" from the main towns etcetera and they depend on the host net, so maybe if you are the party host your lag issues is because something is using up your net, that seems to be the case since you experience lag only in dungeons.

Thanks for the reply.
I recently found out it was fps drops, no idea why it happens
And yeah, I'm from europe :tcry:
EDIT:
Changing cpu affinity to 1 made it barely playable, but I still experience rubber banding besides rare fps drops.
And it crashed the game after a while

I got the same problem as you do mage. made a post on their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forums aswell about it. What motherboard do you have ? im using a MSI motherboard with a killer E2200 NIC and i get 1-4 secs delay even tho im in a country right next to where the server is located. (using a hashwell cpu aswell game might not like that can any other hashwell users say if they have problems like mad fps drops where there shouldnt be?)

[ahh see you found my post :P]

I'm using a msi board myself z87 g45.
I'm wondering if the killer network driver might be a problem again though.
It crashed Sanctum 2 whenever I tried to play it.

Ah, so you're Minifilia then :p

I'm a bit suprised actually that it seems we're the only ones with the problem.
Doqqel 11 Jan 2014 @ 3:16pm
yeah same but im sure there are others out there its just the people with High end specs might not even bother looking at this game :P
Asa Shigure 11 Jan 2014 @ 3:29pm
Good point :tcry:

well if your looking for a action game kinda like dragonsnest try out vindictus(not on steam) to keep you busy while waiting for support to get to work on monday >.<"
Vasault 11 Jan 2014 @ 4:19pm
60fps high settings in dungeons, but in town is like 11-20 fps
Doqqel 11 Jan 2014 @ 4:26pm
sadly its the other way around for me 144 fps in towns and random drops to 1 fps in dungeons. but the 2-4sec delay on hit detection it what makes it unplayable
Asa Shigure 11 Jan 2014 @ 5:34pm
doqqel, try going into the task manager and under processes choose dragonnest.exe and changing core affinity to just one of them.
Pretty much solves the fps problem, sadly it might crash after a while.
I haven't tried again since it crashed so I don't know if that problem will persist.

Sadly it wont help with the hit detection delay.
Doqqel 11 Jan 2014 @ 6:06pm
did that and the fps problem is solved. sadly just need a fix for the 2-4 sec delay...
