Also, whatever sprites you may need I will happily provide.
Cheers!
Glad you liked it. (wait until you get the Master Skills as Char's Objectives, hohoho). =]
I probably have to point out to other players, inside the game, all available mechanics in the game, but I think the tutorial are already too annoying for the players.
For example: Multiattack has two branches.
Greater Multiattack -> Superior Multiattack
Breaking Multiattack -> Debilitating Multiattack
Both are good situationally, but Breaking Multiattack grants Guard Break which cannot be dodged (evasion).
Also: Some skills become amazing only at the final tier - notably the white spell Bless. Aura Bless is better than Reliable Bless, and Area Bless is (in theory) much better than Blessed Knight.
Well, if you pair the 4 attacks with Exploit Opening and Unarmored Buster it's quite effective too. ^_~
Looking forward to it!
You seem to have something detailed in mind, so allow me just a short comment about how fleeting data is when it is not saved on your own disk. In other words, it might make sense to have the master document in your own environment and only copy the content to Steam or wherever. But you know that anyway, without a doubt. I have seen too many projects die because some software / server / storage medium croaked that was not under control of the author.
Just a suggestion for creating the guide. Considering that the game is still under development and we still find out about its workings, it might make sense to create an alpha version of the guide and a thread here where anyone can give input when they see something that does not match their own experience. Remember that perfect is the enemy of good.
Anywho, I am stoked to see the first draft. All the best for your project!
There’s no documentation, but they’re all JSON and pretty human-readable. Just... maybe don’t edit them... LOL
Using 2 Adamant Flintlocks = 2 attacks 4 - 8 damage ignore armour cause Daze.
Superior Multiattack = +4 attacks 2 - 4 damage ignore armour cause Daze (8 - 16 damage)
Debilitating Multiattack = +2 attacks ignore evasion (very important) 4 - 8 damage ignore armour cause Daze +2 damage vs guard (8 - 16 damage, cannot be dodged, 12 - 20 damage vs Guard)
Superior Multiattack is probably better for Melee combined with other skills.
Debilitating Multiattack is probably better for Ranged Firearms
Golems become walking bags of XP and Salvaged Iron now
Impact damage naturally halves the target's armor though. That's the main difference between them and bows, but they also do a little less damage.
I'm loving the combos you guys are making! =D
Cheers!
EDIT: just tested on my end, and nor Mace Training nor Deep Impact are active if I use a Firearm. These Skills need a melee impact weapon. Phew! No need to patch it then.
Depends on the Exploit Opening. There is a Ranged Exploit Opening on the ranged tree and I think there is another on the piercing melee tree.
It will be better explained when I added the weapon requirements on the combat and party screen query. But the equipment needed is already on the Town Shop. =]
Cheers!
Shield Charge (Shield Mastery Skill) Swift, Cooldown 3, Equipment Needed: Shield
Area Attack
Hit 3 adjacent characters Provoke and Push them for 3 squares
So this ability IS a mass provoke, but it pushes people away and you will have to walk up and hit them. This is a swift action so if you run up to someone, Shield Charge, they get pushed away and you've probably run out of movement to catch them now.
Not a great ability
