Tips for Earning Enough Money?
I'm a couple hours in now, I now have a 100,000 yen debt I have to pay off every day and I never seem to be able to really get ahead. I have the "passive income" unlocked but at best I can earn... you guessed it, 100,000 yen! Plus Mascots want bonuses, upgrades cost money, I have to help pay off the debt of my boss so I don't get a Game Over screen, it feels like a real struggle early on. Are there things I should be focusing on so I can really start earning some money and stay ahead of things to make the game feel less stressful?

It's definitely worth exploring to find more passive income mascots. Also try the crane game if you're struggling -- I'm pretty sure time doesn't pass while you're doing it, so you can set yourself up for a big chunk of income each night without extra stress. Ultimately, more local mascots and jobs will be your big earner, so make sure you've got every one you can currently access.

I actually pushed the agency management really aggressively early on and never felt much of a pinch money-wise. You'll definitely be able to get a handle on it all in due course!

Crane Game gets late unlocked at that time you dont have a clue what "not enough money means" anymore.

There's definitely an early game hump to get over. I should probably actually try giving all of my early mascots job share reviews and see how that goes, because the time off hurts and the 50k bonuses are killer so early.

But in the early game you need as many mascots and as many jobs as you can get. Hang in there, it does get easier.

What helped me a bit was finding the recycling unit upgrade for the truck. Collect bin bags for free money more or less, about 1-2k a bag and in the early game those things are just everywhere. I don't remember exactly where it is, though it is quite close to the agency, but you'll need to have talked to Jose first

Money became trivial fairly quickly. They make it sound like sending money will be a big deal, even mentioning that you can get game over if you mess up, but it's really not as long as you do jobs early and collect stuff.

My contract offer for all mascots was always the same: Time off, +5% job share, +15% job share. Yeah, you lose a chunk of possible payout per job (mascots have different minimum shares, so some of them might make a little over half the total from every event) so it's a little harder in the early game, but never having to pay bonuses or review their job shares saves you an UNGODLY amount of money in the long run. Time off is trivial since their stamina going down is going to keep them out of commission anyway. Once you recruit enough mascots to always have, like, at least 5 or 6 jobs in progress, money becomes trivial.

While you're still getting over that early hump, trash bags, road money and fishing can pad out your income, and some of the Life Satisfaction events with your mascots give you little ~40k payouts, but the most important thing is to ABC - Always Be Cmascoting.
