Achievements didn't unlock

So I went through half of the game yesterday. Got half of the achievements.
Beat the game today, and none of the other achievements unlocked.
Some other discussion said not to run FRAPS. I had FRAPS on both times, but.... it only prevented achievements from unlocking the second time I played.

I also did not get ANY trading cards the second time. First time I got two.
To my knowledge, STEAM did not track any time progress either.

Not going back over the game. Oh well.

Update!

I tried to do Continue and replay the final scene. It still didnt work.
I quit out, looked to make sure STEAM Overlay was enabled. It wasnt (and it wasnt before, I dont like having it on, so I dont know why this affected it) so I enabled it. Jumped into the game, and immediately on Loading the continue saved gamed, it popped all the achievements.

So I'm not sure what caused it. I had FRAPS on both game sessions, and STEAM Overlay was off both game sessions. Could've been a server issue or something. But the main point is, the achievements are stored with the save, so it should try to "sync" them if you load the game again. If not, try a third or fourth time.
