Games like "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter" and "The Stanley Parable"?
I really enjoyed playing The Vanishing of Ethan Carter where I normally don't really enjoy the "story telling" kind of games. Since this is now the second time already of enjoying a very good game that is fully about telling an immersive story (the first was "Life is Strange"), I was wondering if anyone has good suggestions for games to play.

Similar games where I just went "how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great is this game" after playing it:
- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
- The Stanley Parable
- Life is Strange
- Life is Strange Before The Storm (not as great as the first one imo)
- Portal 2
- Portal (nostalgia/concept, 2 was a better story game)
- Superhot

Other (local multiplayer) games that I've enjoyed a lot:
- Castle Crashers
- BIT.TRIP BEAT
- Cuphead
- Evoland
- Overcooked

Other games that hold a special place in my heart:
- Factorio
- Borderlands (whole series, but especially 2)
- FTL
- Human Resource Machine

Any obvious titles I'm missing? (got recommended The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and The Stanley Parable before when I asked my friend this question, figured there must be more stuff out there I'm missing)

How about "What Remains of Edith Finch" ? Try it, if so what is your perspective on it?

Thanks, I've tried it since, finished it and liked it. Wasn't as good as The Vanishing of Ethan Carter in my opinion, but it was indeed a similar type of game that was very enjoyable :)

You should try Kona. Nevermind the ending though.
