Best way to dodge the "suffer" move

Whats the best way to dodge Tyrone's move where he says suffer and makes blood rain down? Dodging kinda works and running away doesn't really seem to work am i missing something?

You move a little closer to him

You want to stay close. There is a big blind spot of a ring where the bloodnado's won't damage you, but if you stay too close, Tyrone will catch you right after he's done with his attack and insta-kill you.
