How to report bugs, issues, and general feedback

I'm sorry you've had an issue with the game! Thank you for taking the time to report the issue to me, I'll try and fix bugs as quickly as I can!

Where to report

If you've run into a bug, want to suggest some new features, or have some other issue or feedback, the best place to get help is on the Discord Server[discord.com], specifically in the Star Mining Co. Feedback channel[discord.com]

The feedback channel is set up as a forum, so simply create a new post and post your issue/feedback there.

(This is probably best for bugs only, feature suggestions and general feedback are better on Discord so others can weigh in on the discussion!)

What to include

If you're reporting a bug, crash, or some error related to the game, it's really helpful to include the log file of the play session that crashed/had the issue.

To find the log files:

1. go to the Star Mining Co. game page in your library on Steam
   
2. click the settings cog
   
3. click "Manage" > "Browse local files"
   
4. navigate to the "logs" folder and select the relevant .log file (they are named according to the date/time of the play session)

Note: there is no need to include the .log.lck file, just the .log file will do :)

Depending on the nature of the bug, it can also be helpful to state whether you were in full screen mode or not at the time of the issue.
