Using of consumables

For some reason can`t use my Active comsumable on "1" button KB, or d-pad down on gamepad - nothing happens, no animations. Changing to other button didn`t do anything. Whats i am doing wrong?

Don't know if this is related ... but out of curiosity, did this button just randomly stop working?

I had an issue last night where my ESC key stopped working, and I had to alt-f4 to get out of the game...

I have had this issue before as well. Do this next time you swap a consumable and find it doesnt work. Go refresh at a beacon. I think its a display error. Swapping to the consumable makes it technically 0/X, but for some reason the game shows it as full uses.

well, after i died on "boss" burning tree - that button starts work properly. Looks like u need to die, and after that consumables will work, lol.
