I want to rush to get this weapon and there are multiple sources online that say I can right from the start. However, the only path to get there is blocked and I need more ova. Is this a change from the beta and I have wait a bit to actually get it?

The sword you’re looking for I literally just got about an hour ago and the entrance to get the blade is to the right side of the castle on the outside just be careful though you will get trapped in a room with a bunch of enemies where the blade is at. If you do manage to get it, make sure you try to get into the castle to get the shell inside.

The castle is where I’m trying to get but I’m soft locked due to a lack of ova

And to get access to the restricted areas I had to collect I think 10 eggs to unlock mother’s breath or whatever it’s called, which clears restricted areas

Northwest from the mushroom village beacon, past the chapel, you can enter a well that eventually exits near the dungeon for the blade.

You have to make sure you clear every beacon and search every area.

Thanks this is what I wanted to know. I have to explore a bit more before going the build I want.

Yeah, that well is pretty cool. I still haven’t managed to beat the feeding room, boss where there’s two of those damn monsters from the first game with the blade arms.
