Controller Rebinding

The open beta doesn't have controller remapping and it is honestly pretty frustrating and limiting accessibility wise too. Can the devs confirm if the full game will have rebinding or not because this feels like such an oversight for a soulslike that is coming out in 2026

The full game has controller rebinding yes

the controller rebinding still isnt letting me shoot no matter how i rebind. any fix to this so i can actually play the game?

Have you tried restarting the game and verifying files?
Can I confirm what controller you are using?

xbox style 8bitdo. i tried restarting game, changing keybindings, changing steam inputs. i had the same problem on the beta. i will try verifying files.

xbox style 8bitdo. i tried restarting game, changing keybindings, changing steam inputs. i had the same problem on the beta. i will try verifying files.

I had the same problem. Weirdly it worked with this controller when i changed the trigger lock to short trigger for RT. After that i could shoot again

what do you mean by changing trigger lock to short trigger for steam input? changing short trigger pull to full trigger pull? i attempted that with no such luck.

rebinding steam input switching right trigger to right bumper allows me to shoot with right bumper. but now both my right bumper and right trigger are both the same attacks and i cant navigate the menus with right trigger after changing the steam input from rb to right trigger. as i switched both inputs to offset each other. so progress but just need to make sure i still have rb functionality in right trigger

ok i have fixed my problem i had to adjust my steam input trigger. i changed it from hair trigger to standard and i lowered the dead zone thresholds all the way to 2000. that is my solution that has worked for me. so might work for other people.
