GrafLaudan's maps
I downloaded GrafLaudan's map but now cannot get back to the European map that came with the game. Is there a way to get the Europe map back or is it gone forever?
Also, is there a way to go from city to city to check on each without having to manually click each one individiualy- say, a keyboard letter which would allow them to be viewed alphabetically (my own cities)?

........

Map ?
He got mods with their own maps, but no (only) map mods, as far as i know.

Anyway, simply removing the added folders should work.

What folders, well look inside the zip file for the mod you used.
As far as i can see in the mods i downloaded these are :
defs, images, maps, movies, Texts

Not directly, but you can click on F8 to open the province list and when you double click on a province name on the list, it will then move the map to that city of the province and assuming you had opened the building window open for a province, then change to the buildings window of that province automatically.

So in short, use the province list window (F8) to jump from city to city.

I tried removing those files as you suggested -It worked GREAT! It even left my saved games intact. I might like to try and buy two copies of the game from Steam - one for Europe and one for these mods. I'm not sure if that can be done or if I would get into the game that much.
As for F8 & doubleclicking, that worked well, too.

Dear firgael1

when you not place my mod in the original Knights of Honor folder, so you can play everytime with the original game.

The next step shows you how can i used the mods without place the mod in the original folder.
9) Preparation for the mods.
Copied the Knights of Honor folder (you find this folder in SteamApps\common or by CD\DVD version in progamms(x86)) to the desktop and rename the folder as Knights of Honor World Scenario (for examble).

10.) The folder from World Scenario MOD download(defs, images, maps, movies and text) are pushed / copied in the Knights of Honor World Scenario folder from the desktop.

11.) This mod is started by click the Knights of Honor application folder in the Knights of Honor World Scenario.

Note: By copying the folder Knights of Honor on the desktop, it is possible to have all the mods available.

Only the Original game from Steam start by the Knights of Honor application on the desktop.

Grand.
As GrafLaudan says above, there is no need to buy a second copy.
The game runs fine without Steam. Just make a copy of the folder, rename it and put it somewhere else tha the Steam apps folder...if you want.

@Graflaudan

Why the seemingly obsession with the desktop ?
Can't it still be anywhere or is Win10 causing problems ?
