how to speed up time and is there a way to change resolution or make my arrows keys switch to awsd for movement

as i know, there is no way to speed up time in game,
but if you have many works done with one king, the king will die quickly

and i don't know how to change resolution and change key mapping....sorry

Use the key + or - on the numberpad to change the speed from 1 to 8. With the key * you can change up to 10. Not every laptop have the numberpad so connect on your laptop another keyboard to change your speed. The resolution you can only change with the HD Patch.
awsd keys not working for movement.

does anyone know how to pause this game. i ve seen it done on one of the youtube playthroughs but it wasn t made clear how!

Normaly you open the Pause Screen with the Pause key on your keyboard. But some laptop have not this key, so you can open the Pause screen if you open in the game the Royal Library.
The Royal Library Screen you can move with the mouse in any corner to see more from the map.

You can speed up time by pressing the + and - keys on the keyboard (I have only tried with numberpad keys). You can speed the game up to 8 times, or the 0.5 slowmotion at will.

Just keep in mind that you can sometimes miss important information if time flies way too fast.

Use button * where the NUM LOCK PAD is. It gives you speed 10 or 1.

F16 will pause the game on my Mac.

Check out autohotkey. I use it for any game that doesnt allow you to modify keybindings. You can basically remap the keyboard any way you like
