Why Denuvo though?
I really don't understand why they decided they needed to use Denuvo this year? Regardless of how you feel about it personally, it's very controversial and i'm not really sure it makes any sense for this game in the first place.

Most people play this game on console, so I imagine it's a very small amount of people who would even *try* to pirate this on PC. There wasn't a pirated version of 24, 23, or 22 either.

This just seems like a weird and bad choice by EA. Maybe they don't really want PC players buying their game.

To appeal to investors.

Because Denuvo works. It does what it claims. Do you run a game company and are some kind of authority on sales of EA. Most People do not care about Denuvo. So it will have little effect on there sales.

There's quite a few games that would show otherwise, but that's neither here nor there. They are paying for Denuvo when they didn't need to. People aren't rushing out to pirate this game. The past several games haven't been pirated and they didn't feature Denuvo.

Quite a few people *do* care about Denuvo. Most people do(I can make unfounded claims too, like you did!)

You know what else denuvo does? Besides "works"? Performance issues. Documented. You obviously know little about the subject, so why respond?

I'm not really sure that tracks. Denuvo is just costing them money for no real benefit. Like I mentioned, previous versions of Madden never got cracked, so this seems like just another silly EA thing that makes no sense, but definitely isn't a benefit for consumers.

sorry but there is no such documented evidence. Just something you guys like to claim. But t hats all you have is BS...right. The truth doesn't support you. Us gamers who actually play dozens of Denuvo games no better. And you should know by the industry that most people just do not care. Games keep using it and they keep selling. See thats all you have is fantasy. The truth sure doe snot support your claims. Good luck hitting your face against the brick wall that is Denuvo however. EA is a billion dollar company they defintelly know what there doing.

You have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not sure who this "you guys" is you're talking about, but you're talking to me, not some faceless mob. You are automatically wrong because every additional bit of software does impact performance. So even if denuvo works right, you're still wrong, but it often does not.

See yourself out, clown. I don't need to debate the merits of Denuvo with you(there are none), that's not what this thread is about. Get on topic or get lost.

its to stop stealing of the game and so forth, it works for some titles but not others. im all for it however once its you know been stolen then get rid of it as its worthless now.

Well, few games remove it once the pirates get ahold of it. That's a separate issue though. I am asking about *this specific title* using it, because there doesn't appear to have been a need. None of the previous PC releases were heavily pirated(as far as I can tell, they weren't even cracked unless you go back to 20).

It seems odd, because now they are spending *more* money on not actually improving the game in any way, to solve a problem the game doesn't have.
