There's quite a few games that would show otherwise, but that's neither here nor there. They are paying for Denuvo when they didn't need to. People aren't rushing out to pirate this game. The past several games haven't been pirated and they didn't feature Denuvo.
Quite a few people *do* care about Denuvo. Most people do(I can make unfounded claims too, like you did!)
You know what else denuvo does? Besides "works"? Performance issues. Documented. You obviously know little about the subject, so why respond?
I'm not really sure that tracks. Denuvo is just costing them money for no real benefit. Like I mentioned, previous versions of Madden never got cracked, so this seems like just another silly EA thing that makes no sense, but definitely isn't a benefit for consumers.
You have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not sure who this "you guys" is you're talking about, but you're talking to me, not some faceless mob. You are automatically wrong because every additional bit of software does impact performance. So even if denuvo works right, you're still wrong, but it often does not.
See yourself out, clown. I don't need to debate the merits of Denuvo with you(there are none), that's not what this thread is about. Get on topic or get lost.
Well, few games remove it once the pirates get ahold of it. That's a separate issue though. I am asking about *this specific title* using it, because there doesn't appear to have been a need. None of the previous PC releases were heavily pirated(as far as I can tell, they weren't even cracked unless you go back to 20).
It seems odd, because now they are spending *more* money on not actually improving the game in any way, to solve a problem the game doesn't have.
