PS4 Controller Not Working

I have my PS4 controller connected and have played around with all the settings and preferences but the game will only display Xbox controls. Any fix or am I cooked.

try disabling playstation controller support in steam. Steam, settings, controller, playstation controller support [Not enabled]. Works fine for me like that.

I don't think Madden on PC supports PS4/PS5 controller mapping. It still works, but will always show the Xbox controller buttons.

This is a common issue in games because of technical/support issues with Playstation controllers and windows.

Works for me, but only certain buttons seem to work, i recommend refunding this crap.

xbox controller will also do nothing in game, and yes the game picks it up as does xbox app. However the game fails to do anything. This is by far the worst ever madden i have ever played.

How does a sports game not have a controller working? You'd think if there was an issue it would be with the keyboard.

Keyboard works though, so does the controller but only when it wants, like sometimes i can move and do stuff and other times it will not respond. F 2k

I mean it takes controls from my controller but from completely random buttons. (PS5 Controller) A is the "start" button, Triangle is down, Cirlce is up, X is nothing,??? Like how am i going to navigate the menu. Really cant do anything

My DS4 worked fine (with correct button pictures) ONLY when using and launching Madden 25 from Steam Big Picture mode.

I use a ps5 controller for pc. I think I had to turn off a setting in steam so it would work. I know I googled the answer so it can be done.
