Do I learn rules of the game?

Dear Community,
I am not from the US, and i dont know anything about American Football.
I want to buy and play this game, so I learn how to play it…
Maybe I can watch the next super bowl and dont feel like a noob..
Is the game suitable for this?

Yeah it'll help you learn. My nephew (8 years old) has been playing madden like crazy & he's adapting to the ruleset quite well on his own.

I am new to Madden. The best advice I can give is to do the Training, practice drills.

Most important thing to learning is practicing.

Turn off the play clock. Set the camera to All-22. Play on PRO difficulty. Learn the controls.
