Is it worth it at $20?

Game's on sale for $20, I've owned multiple maddens in the past that I've gotten on sale, and even then I'm not sure they've been worth it. I don't know why I expect anything different in this one, but is it worth it for $20? Or should I just stick with CFB25?

It's $20 if you look at the spec's you need to run it and you have it covered $ your a Football fan heck yeah I got it for the price. I got a laptop and my rig dont meet the specs but I can play it it's just my FPS get average 45. My machine plays Madden 2024 & especially 2023 better but I can deal with the lower frame rate. I dont play online just do Franchise.

keeps crashing when i try try to play friends online cross play. Cant get a refund because i spent over 2 hours trying to play it. Sucks

I have it on new gen console and at $20 it's barely worth it, it's a bit better than Madden 24 but really it's just the same roster update annually. Only new features are the one handed catches which are extremely rare and only can be done by a player with high spec catch ratings and the players' faces and animations are more realistic. They also tend to look back as they're running with the ball if they got some separation. Pc is better in the sense it has lots of fun mods that console doesn't but ultimately it depends on what game modes you play. If you play superstar/franchise mode you'll be a bit disappointed.

Also kinda depends on your pc specs, you'll need a decent card and cpu to run it on pc as well as at least 10 gb of ram.

3080 and i7 13700k with 32gb RAM and I'm getting under 100fps at ultra 1440p.
Which is surprising because the graphics are not impressive.
My controller works fine. I have an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C, but anything with XInput should work. Idk what the dude above me is doing, but controllers should be plug and play if you're using anything with X-Input.

I'd say yes, it's my first Madden game and I've been slowly enojying it. Also not sure about the controller commen, I've got the Xbox Wireless controller and it worked from the start.

Dude if your getting 60 fps that should be fine. My 2700x and 2070 Super are getting 60fps on ultra @ 2160P. I would say you are expecting too much or don't know how to tweak GPU settings personally.
