controller/keyboard issues
I have played several games where in the middle of a play a giant pc keyboard shows up. I then press the steam icon on bottom of my laptop and play is over. This has cost me yards and better play results. I play with an xbox controller and am careful when I select a team to ensure that I use controller only. I never play with the keyboard. Many times I am constantly flicking the right stick to change from keyboard to controller icons, This too has caused some issues for me. I like this game but not loving mess like this. Please help. Thank you.

Are you pressing anything on the keyboard when this happens (i.e. adjusting volume or something brushing the keyboard)?

From another forum...One solution I found was to go to Steam > Settings > Controller > Desktop Configuration. It shows a single default action set and action layer with "Show Keyboard" mapped to left and right joystick movement. Click each box containing that command, click into the 'Click Action' field where it shows "Show Keyboard", and click Remove at the bottom, then back to get back to the previous menu. This should remove the trigger that is causing the visual keyboard to appear.

and a fix I worked out to disable keyboard in the game...

For those with the Controller issue where it shows keyboard and PS4 buttons at the same time and switches weirdly between the two, there is a fix in steam that disables the keyboard completely so that like a PS, you only use the controller in game. Controller MUST be plugged into a cable.

From the steam main application (not Big Picture) click "Steam" in the upper left corner
Click "settings"
Click the "controller" tab
Click Edit on Desktop Layout
Click Edit Layout
On the left you'll see the PS buttons, on the right you'll see if it's assigned to a key on the keyboard.
Keep clicking through the buttons on the left and on the right click remove command for everything.
