No audio issue (found a fix, at bottom)

I have had random crashing on madden 24 and 25, and realized a bug in madden 25 was when I went into online and I started the lobby I would lose all PC volume. I use the elgato wave link software which makes things complicated. I know how to use it and have set it up and it works for EVERY OTHER GAME.

However randomly after playing madden 25 for 70 hours my audio is gone. I have
1. Made sure I am using right output (and correct default device)
2. Confimed my elgato wave link is set up properly
3. Made sure in windows and in game volume is turned up
4. Restarted game, restarted pc and restarted steam
5. Repaired game multiple times
6. Am caught up on graphics drivers and windows updates
7. Ran DISM and SFC commands
8. Tried just shifting madden off of my elgato and to my headset directly (which again other games and google works fine but still no for madden)
9. Updated (automaticly) audio drivers
10. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
11. Cleared EA and steam cashe


Anyone have any ideas of what else I can do

The fix was as people said disabling audio output devices. Disable an audio output device and then launch the game. Test a different one each time

Madden is crappy console port so it can't select the correct audio device. You'll need to go into your sound devices and disable the audio devices you don't want the audio to go through. Pain in the ass, but the only way really.

hey you gotta disable all audio your not using in settings just your headset worked for me
