We are back!
Dear Tank Operations: European Campaign fans,

Thank you for many years of loyalty to the game. After 5 years, in which the game was supervised by another publisher, we finally took the game back into our own hands. We know Tank Operations is a good, solid game, but it's time to improve it even further. Your reviews have inspired us. Together with you we want to work on the game and get the best out of it.

For that price I bought it
looks like something Matrix/Slitherine would produce, without the ridiculous obscene price. let you know. Oh and it works on 1920x1200 res

Yeah I was interested in Commander: The Great War but after reading the forums for a bit it seemed the developer was more worried about porting the game over to Mac and mobile platforms than they were addressing the issues PC users were finding. That was a turn-off for me.

It's seems to be closer to Allied General, as you can't play as the Axis. The game retains the PG feel but contrary to Panzer Corps, which is a very close remake has its own new ideas and seems to be interesting.

Thanks, that killed it for me. I got the impression you could only play the allied side but it would be nice if they actually made that clear in the game description.

It looks like Panzer Tactics, and I loved that game. What modes are on the game?

Did you miss this great remake:

It has been around for something like 2 years. :)

30 euro, for a allied campaign, and another 30, for german, 3 euro for various small DLC's, and then another 30, for a megapack expansion.......oh and also 15 euro for a desert warfare pack

yea, im not that desperate.....:SocialPolicy:
You should concentrate more when you read. 23 euro for the base game, the megapack includes all the dlcs and is incredibly long (over 100 scenarios). And there are Christmas sales, so at least -50%. :)
Rabble 22 NOV 2013 a las 12:17
Yea is there an editor and random battles?

"Panzer Corps" is great (and a worthy successor to the "Panzer General" series) but this game appears to offer some new tactics like sabotage and the need to maintain a supply line -- much like "Unity of Command." (as an above poster mentioned)

edit---

any1 who bought the game yet, who can shead some light on the quality?

Let me tell you, Panzer Corps is a great game, well worth the money. Panzer Corps is far superior to the old Panzer General series (which I loved back in the day and still crank on now and then).
Its your money, so don't take my word for it, but have a look for reviews etc and I think you will be impressed.
I'm going to sit tight with this game (tank operations) for a bit and see what the feedback and reviews are before comitting to buy.

I wonder if your units can gain experience and promotions like older games of these sorts? I loved all the old allied general, pacific general, people's general, fantasy general etc...

it doesn't exactly tell you anywhere that its the complete deal, and regardless, its still too much

Have to agree with many above, Panzer Corps, Afriika Corps and Allied Corps are well worth the price, definitely brings back the old PG nostalgia, and to top it all off, Matrix/Slitherine are having their holiday sale start monday.

As for this game, GameFly has it for the same price plus a 20% off voucher ( Steam version, cheapshark has the details), I may end up purchasing this later today, if I do so will post up a quick review.

OPTION CRASH??
Someone else have a crash of the game with option botton???? help!!
harley9699 22 NOV 2013 a las 13:36
Looking forward to the reviews. And, yes, Panzer Corps is absolutely Great...and better than Panzer General and all of those listed. This game does hold me back a bit being only one (Allied) sided. Am also wondering how scripted it is.
