Why this game is so hated???

What this content is about, is it DLC?? And why is it so hated?

Have you ever played Deus Ex:Human Revolution and the DLC? If yes - then you should realize that Deus Ex:The Fall is a huge step back. They did not rework the game and they did not give it the proper look and feel that it´s deserving.

compare games to the same titled game can be a bad attitude. Afterall, the only one thing you should rely on when ranking a game on your purely subjective feeling if you feel like that, and it shouldn't have relativism at all. So tell me, what is so wrong with this game?

I pkayed all the Deus Ex since they came out, and i never disliked any of them, some i prefer but none i think are "garbage"
People were expecting the same visual experience of HR or a total revamp in hd graphic, were all they did was just port it 1:1 from iOs, for all that people, like me, who don't own a pad and want to play it.
And it run on a old toaster too.
But, hey, it's not technically top notch, so it should suck.

Because playing a game for entertain and the story it's so old this day.
I played it several time, achievements hunting and grinding, and for the sake of it, 1 full stealth, 1 full Rambo, 1 no weapons, 1 no killing or take downs....and so.
You know, just for fun...

I absolutely love HR but i alredy know what i'll going to get with The Fall, so no disappointed at all. A bit surprised for what they got out of a pad in less than 1Gb.

I havnt played the game yet but from everything ive seen and heard its not a true Deus Ex game and is simply another mobile tie in marketed to people on tablets/phones that was ported onto PC to get every dime they possible could from the title. The Deus Ex series has always been about deep, deep story and taking on a problem any possible way you can imagine. This game seems to be just another 3rd person mobile action game where a simple reskin would easily make the game pass for "Mobile Assassin Advanced Warfront of Duty" or whatever they call those terrible mobile games designed to look like modern games.

Combine all that with the hardcore following the deus ex series has and you can imagine why so many people were upset one of their favorite franchises was drug through the mobile dirt.

PPL hate The Fall cause they are stupid and expected a full fledged AAA release while it's a simple port from mobile platform.

its a blemish deus ex, when you build a fanbase around a franchise, you want to keep in line to the themes, characters, familiar mechanics (or a logical translation/migration of play that does not betray the elements that hooked fans in the first place). basically, there was both hit and miss in the world building for deus ex between the sequel and human revolution.

the fall was deviation (arguably, every title since the first was a deviation) too far off the mark and thus could not click with fans. it's an out of touch piece of "fast food" that features a total groder protagonist; sticking out like a sore thumb amidst near future sci-fi and cyberpunk directed audio visuals.

it's about as much deus ex as "lords of shadow" is a castlevania. it demonstrates that the people responsible for making the game don't understand their product and worse, don't understand the fans to which they tried (i say that genoursly, i don't they tried at all) to cater. it's more like they didn't care and took a stab at just "selling the name".

it has nothing to do with haters expecting a AAA experience from a mobile port or a few sour opinions. this game was made without regard to what the franchise established with its fans.

the reasons don't need to be objective to mark the game as "bad", the devs just needed to have a grasp on the things which are universally or commonly subjective positives among the fans. regardless of sales sucess or not, they failed to achieve critical sucess and fan appreciation precisely because they lacked the before-mentioned grasp on those group held subjective positives.

Most hated it whitout even playing it but because of TotalBuiscuits video review, he played it with the wrong settings and everyone assumed that's a bad optimized game and such.
