PlayStation®VR2 App

PlayStation®VR2 App

Only 1 controller is recognised at a time!!!
I've done searches but cannot find another else with the same problem. I am able to pair 1 of the controllers to my system but the 2nd controller just doesn't connect properly. Even if i get them both to say connected, the playstation VR app only recognises one.

I can muck about with the pairing and switch which one is recognised too. I have found i need to connect the controller back up to the PS5 using the cable to clear out configs and then it will successfully pair. No matter what I do, i cannot get both to pair.

The stupid set up also refuses to continue without the controllers paired, not that i'm going to use them anyway in sim racing and flight :/

Possibly a bluetooth adapter issue? I used the recommended TP Link one and had issues, when I swapped to the recommended Asus adapter I stopped having issues. Not a guarantee though, possibly completely unrelated.

This is my fear. I'm not looking to buy any adapter for bluetooth because i'm likely getting a new gaming PC in about 6 months, so i don't want to buy something that will collect dust. It might be a case of either waiting for an update that lets us ignore the controllers and still use the headset.

If you know what kind of motherboard you will have, you can buy adapter for bluetooth today. If the board does not have built-in bluetooth of good quality, you can buy a recommended pci-e card. If the board does have built-in bluetooth of good quality, you can buy the recommended asus usb for $15. If $15 is a significant amount for you, of course you can wait these 6 months. (There is no malice here, I am honest, people in the world have a very large discrepancy in their earnings).

edit:
Without controllers, there is no vr.
The display on the head itself is the same as the cardboard goggles, to which you can send the image and play with the keyboard or xbox pad.
VR controllers bring your hands into the game and you use them there like in the real world.

This is my 5th VR headset, so i'm not new to this. The cost of the bluetooth adapter isn't the issue, its the e-waste. I would rather wait then buy some bluetooth card that won't be necessary.

If that's all you want, then I have a solution.
Once you don't need it, you can sell it for free on your local online marketplace. I'm sure someone will find it useful.
