- View Windows Bluetooth Settings and pair the PSVR2 controllers again.
Oh I forgot to mention I was using the BT dongle the last time I had successfully used the PSVR 2 with controllers and unplugged it when not in use and didn't re-enable the onboard BT, so those controllers were not paired to the onbored mobo's BT at all.
- View Windows safe mode
- Open Device Manager
- Click View on the toolbar
- Click show hidden devices
- Then expand the Bluetooth section
- Right click the PlayStation VR2 controllers
- Click Uninstall Device
- Click the Scan for hardware changes icon (if it is displayed again, repeat the Uninstall Device step).
- Restart the computer into standard Windows mode
- Pair the PSVR2 controllers again
If there are any additional Bluetooth peripherals paired like gamepads or headphones, these should be unpaired and only the PSVR2 controllers in use.
Yeah I tried that, it didn't work.. Made sure the PS5 was turned off as well so it wouldn't try to pair with that accidentally and even removed both controllers from PS5 accessories settings.
If this isn't working, you may have to use regedit and delete the paired device that way. There may be examples you can Google that demonstrate that.
Then I was able to add both controllers back in no problem.
Hopefully this will not be needed every time when switching between PS5 and PC.
