Need Help "Check DisplayPort Connection"
"The DisplayPort cable is not connected. Make sure you connect the PSVR2 PC adapter and your PC with a DisplayPort cable (1.4 or higher). I'm using a 2.1 display cable, it's plugged in, I've tried multiple ports, but it's not working. My PC has 2 display ports, one doesn't seem to read anything, and the other is connected to my monitor, so that one works, but when I plug the adapter into it, I'm blind. I turn on the headset, and there's a picture instructing me to take off the headset and look at the screen, only I can't because I'm using that display port for the adapter. I've followed the steps up to "1. Connect your VR headset to the PS VR2 PC adapter. 2. Press the power button located on the bottom of the scope. If you can't proceed, go back to the previous steps and check all connections." Idk what to do.

Begin by confirming the display cable and graphics card port is rated for at least Display Port 1.4 speeds with DSC support (for example Nvidia 20 series).

If the Display cable is 3M or longer, please use a shorter cable as this could cause issues (depending on the cable quality).

If the PSVR2 adapter cables are connected to the USB or Display Port connections via an external hub, this should be disconnected and instead connected directly to the computer USB-A port and graphics card Display Port.

If the above are fine, you can exit both applications and try connecting it to a differerent display port on the same graphics card instead. Then launch PlayStation VR2 application before starting SteamVR and have them both active.

If the error is repeated, please enable the integrated graphics card if it has the feature via device manager or the bios, and try uninstalling the display driver for both integrated graphics and dedicated graphics card.

- Then after restarting, install the most current driver for both the graphics cards from the manufacturer website.

- You may want to install the most current Motherboard chipset driver software from the Manufacturer website, before launching the PlayStation VR2 application again.

- You can confirm the model of your motherboard by opening the Windows "System Information" application and selecting the "System Summary" headset. Check the value in "System Model" or "BaseBoard Product"

If the failure repeats itself, please uninistall the SteamVR and PlayStation VR2 application and restart the computer. Then launch Steam as administrator, by right clicking the shortcut and clicking "Run as Administrator" and begin by installing SteamVR before the PlayStation VR2 application and when both are done, complete the installation steps in the PlayStation VR2 application.

When the installation is complete, you may need to confirm the SteamVR settings are correct. Check the SteamVR settings and click on the OpenXR tab, if the current runtime displays "Oculus" or anything different to "SteamVR", please click the button that indicates "Set SteamVR as OpenXR runtime".

If this has not worked, I suggest contacting Sony support.

@grzegorz77 thanks, that is very similar to Hardware Monitor application except t displays the utilisation of the D3D api's for each graphics card including D3D VR.

When checking basic model id's, Device Manager and System Information are usually fine.

For diagnosing USB connection errors or Driver issues with the PSVR2, Hardware Info 64 is very good as it displays the devices connected to the motherboard and the status of each device connected.

It lists the max speed of the connected device and the current speed it is functioning at.

Libre supports newer sensor chips.
The Open has probably been abandoned or paused for a longer period of time

hwinfo - I used it but I stopped I don't remember why.
I don't need a program to check components.

I use libre (until recently I used open) to log system parameters.

But thank you for recommending the program. :p2chell:

Instead of writing the same thing for 10 days, in 12 different topics, maybe you might consider reading the answer and following the tips.

I thought you were a kid, but you've had a steam account for 19 years. None of us will do it instead of you, because no one is sitting in front of your monitor.

Hey OP... I got that message when my display port cable wasn't fully plugged in. In addition to random moments of my PSVR2 cutting out mysteriously... My Case was somewhat blocking the display port ever so slightly. Had to readjust my GPU like a mm and I had to shave down the edges of my display cable with a box cutter and voila... it was jammed in there better than ever. The Display cables casing at the end of the plug was preventing my cable from being far enough in. I would get intermittent black outs and the 109 error. Have no idea if this would help, but seemed to solve my connection problems and the error
