Report a translation problem
- Connect the USB-A cable to a different USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, or try a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port if the Gen 2 port isn't working.
- Disconnect any USB hubs or docks, and connect the USB-A cable directly into the machine.
- Disconnect any peripherals that aren't needed.
- Disconnect any other VR headset that isn't in use. Only the PSVR2 should be in use.
- Uninstall SteamVR and the PlayStation VR2 application and restart the machine.
- Start SteamVR as administrator, install SteamVR before the PlayStation VR2 application.
- Complete the installation and configuration of both applications.
- View the SteamVR menu and select the OpenXR tab. If the current API does not indicate "SteamVR" click the button "Set SteamVR as the current OpenXR runtime".
If this does not work...
- Uninstall any additional VR software that you had before (for example the Quest or Windows Mixed Reality).
- Install the current Motherboard bios update from the manufacturer website.
- Install the current Motherboard chipset driver software.
- Reinstall both SteamVR and the PlayStation VR2 applications as previously described.
