- Switch off the PlayStation 5 as it will try to reconnect to it and switch that on instead.
- Unpair both controllers in Windows.
- Before pairing again, ensure both controllers have a full battery.
- If they are not listed while using the "Add a Bluetooth device" window, use the pin hole at the back of the handle to reset the controllers and repeat.
If these are still not working and you are using a USB dongle or previously had integrated bluetooth hardware it was paired to (and the controllers were not unpaired before upgrading to the new hardware). The previous hardware will need re-enabling, the controllers unpaired from that and then you can update to the new dongle again (and it should add the devices correctly).
If using a USB Bluetooth dongle, these will perform best when connected to a USB 2.0 port with an extension cable from the back and with the driver software downloaded from the manufacturer website instead of the generic drivers installed by Windows update (which are suitable for standard game pads and peripherals).
Which Bluetooth hardware are you using?
If you install the current Bluetooth software available from manufacturer website it might fix the issue. Don't use the default driver from Windows update as that is not suitable for VR.
You will need to view Device Manager and select the existing device in the Bluetooth section and uninstall the old driver. Please click the delete driver checkbox while uninstalling the old driver. Then install the new software as an administrator.
