For me, it still had tracking loss. Found a spare bluetooth 4.0 adapter and that hasn't given me any issues so if the new drivers don't work for you, maybe getting another adapter will be better. Heard people have better success with a PCIe network card with antennas if you're willing to go that route.
And I have it with both left/right controllers. Seems to depend on the controller I synced last. I'm gonna try another adapter.

ROCK SOLID TRACKING when playing with PlayStation®VR2 PC Adapter:
Setup as follows: ASUS USB-BT500 + Xbox cable to charge controller (To hang high in play space) + ASUS USB-C Female to USB female
Provides perfect tracking similar to Rift S, Meta Quest 3, etc.
Tried the recommended TP-UB500 for initial 4 days since the PC adapter being available. It works, the tracking is just too suspect to me. It would freeze my LEFT/RIGHT hand at times that would stick for a few seconds before tracking picked back up.
Always wondered why my SONY WH-1000XM4 would connect to the Bluetooth (Z690 Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) on my PC but always had issues with sound going in and out. This dongle allows me to use them on my BIG RIG PC now.
gonna try the tp-link ub500. Pissed that this is even an issue in the first place.
Did you download the latest drivers from ASUS? I bought the ASUS adapter but I haven't set it up yet.
I tried moving the adapter to different ports, putting it on a really long extension, and even turning the 2.4Ghz radio off on my router.
I'm currently using the TP Link adapter and just ordered the ASUS one, so we'll see in a few days if that fixes it.
PS: Overall, the PSVR2 goggles were already quite expensive on their own. At the same time, only a small percentage of developers transitioned to the PS and VR2 port, resulting in a small game library (mostly from larger studios). On top of that, it was a huge scam that PSVR2 was supposedly designed with PC in mind, but you need an adapter for that (another cost), there's no support for the most interesting features of the goggles, and you need to buy additional Bluetooth adapters (even the recommended ones don't all work 100% as they should)... And now, the equipment that was supposedly made with PC in mind, according to the manufacturer, needs so much external support from other devices that I'm starting to think they're avoiding admitting the truth that they're pulling the wool over our eyes. (Yes, I know most of you don't have any issues, but I bought equipment recommended by Sony... I'm now waiting for my third Bluetooth adapter from ASUS, and I hope it's the last one).
An extremely long cable is not a good idea.
It is recommended to plug into a usb 2.0 port.
This is not a port that gives a lot of current (data signal), the cable should be of good quality with a length of 80 cm, otherwise it may (does not have to) cause problems.
120, 150 cm cable does not have to cause problems. But if you want a long cable, you may need an active one that amplifies the current of the data signal.
If I see the same issues with the ASUS adapter I'll have to try an active cable. I already tried multiple ports on my motherboard and case and all had the same exact issue.
Otherwise, everything is working great with smooth framerates, great tracking (when it works) and I love the feel of the headset.
For me it always left hand that hangs (rotation + buttons still work).
I have read the issue affect the first controller you turn on (Haven't checked this myself).
I have tryied front usb port, back usb port, and also an amplified USB cable to have the TP-link afdapter 1m aways from any radio/electric source but that does not fix the issue.
The asus BT500 is almsot twice more expensive than the TPlink on amazon in my country. I may give a try with the Ugreen one mentionned here if I find other successful reports with it.
What a crap move from Sony to put the responsability on the customers to buy a BT dongle for the controllers instead of adding it into the psvr2 adapter directly.
Btw I have tested to power on the right controller first and then this is the controller that gets the hanging bug. As I'm left handed I was previously always powering the left controller first and that was always the one affected by the bug. So the theory the bug affects the first controller you power on seems valid.
