[SOLVED] Cannot switch between 90 and 120 Hz

In the SteamVR user interface, 120 Hz are fixed for me. Cannot choose 90 (90 does not even appear). Running a AMD RX6800 card. Maybe related to this?

At the moment AMD is locked to 120hz, i dont know why. There are a few discussions open about this, and a lot of discussions on reddit too.

Unfortunately, we haven't figured out why this is the case. Im hoping that a driver update from either sony or amd will fix this.

In the mean time, would you mind reporting the bug to amd via the adrenaline software (bug icon in the top right corner). The more people reporting this perhaps the faster it will get solved.

For reference, im on a 7800xt and also locked to 120hz.

I noticed on my 4090 it was locked to 120hz in the beta version of steam vr. in the normal version both work

Fixed by a update by Sony ! just tested it.

Can confirm RetroSimon's post. The PSVR 2 app update now allows for a 90Hz option for AMD Cards.
