PSVR2 is so much better than Quest 3 its not even funny....
I have compared them:
Q3 colors are DULL, the contrast is POOR, the blacks are milky GREY not black....
It is shocking (no exaggeration) how much richer AND brighter the image from OLED is.
PSVR2 has less corner sharpness but its not really something where you go wow thats much better on the Q3, when you compare them. Besides your vision will be focused in the center area, so this is not really a strength for the Q3.

Lastly i consider going wireless not a plus, because of latency, compression artifacts and even WORSE black levels. Besides only newbies do room scale, you will get even tired of standing when you have longer game sessions. Im using a pulley for the cable, for me that is a non issue.

You're just hurt that Sony stopped supporting their overpriced hardware.

Not on PC.

"PS VR2 was designed from the ground up specifically for PS5 – so you’ll notice that some key features, like HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are not available when playing on PC."

I tried the psvr2 recently and I could easily see the anti glare coating on the lenses or whatever that is while playing games. I don’t own the psvr2 so I can’t tell you how I would feel about that long term. But the device is super light weight. The controllers are super light as well. The headset actually didn’t feel that bad either considering it didn’t have a top strap to balance the weight. But the headset felt cheap to compare the valve index. The oled blacks are really nice and you can easily see the difference.

But man that anti glare coating… I would have to play with the headset for a good while to see if that would still bother me.

It’s easily the best SteamVR budget headset. There is not anything else if you want pure SteamVR

You can remove the anti-glare coating

I could mention the AWESOME haptics from the controllers and headset rumble, and the HDR which are far superior to the Q3, but sadly these wont be supported. Hopefully someone can mod them in....

Lastly i consider going wireless not a plus, because of latency, compression artifacts and even WORSE black levels. Besides only newbies do room scale, you will get even tired of standing when you have longer game sessions. Im using a pulley for the cable, for me that is a non issue.
none of that matters when there is heavy mura and looks blurry

Agreed. Thanks to OLED, color accuracy looks much better on PS VR2, plus it is much cheaper than Quest 3. And besides, I owned both PS5 and PC which is why I've decided to buy PS VR2 instead of Meta Quest 3.
Q3 and QP owner (and former G2 Neo3, Q1, PSVR1, Pimax 8k) ... I am curious how much I will like PSVR2 in MSFS2020, EliteDangerous and Cyberpunk2077 ... Which I do run on a 3080RTX with VirtualDesktop

Mostly interested in the OLED blacks

Btw, I probably use/keep both Q3/QP and PSVR2 (the latter I bought cheap with no PS5 yet)
