If you use it correctly, you will be able to do the same professional level translation at a much lower cost.
Would they rather release a game without subtitles (which would greatly help sales) because hiring professionals is much more expensive and requires more work.
First, in my opinion, the current price of the game is actually quite low for its real value. Even if it were twice as much, it would still be a fair price to pay, at least in my region. I simply haven’t purchased it because it doesn’t have subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese.
Second, my complaint isn’t solely about this game but more about a general trend in the gaming industry. Many companies either spend excessively on certain aspects, which negatively impacts the game's profitability, or don’t spend at all, choosing to release games without subtitles—even when they know this leads to losing a significant portion of the market. This could easily be avoided by using AI tools.
Third, when I say using AI is a viable and very practical solution, it’s based on personal experience. I’ve personally worked on translating a game with over 50,000 words using Gemini’s API, and the results were better than what many games in this genre currently offer.

It’s true, AI doesn’t solve everything, but some things can definitely be solved with it!
