Is there going to be a sequel? As I've seen multiple mentions of it both happening and not happening. If there will be one, when would it be released?

I was a little worried when Cursed Lands came out the sequal has disloved under outside presures and they'd made a game out of the remaining assets. So this is quite a relief.

Nice of them to give us two games in the same universe while we wait.

Last time I spoke with the devs long ago, they will be retconning what happens to Loren in the epilogue. Its been years, so I dunno what they are still doing.

Well yes, but moreover hasn't it been declared the outcome where Zeal kills him without sacrificing anyone (from the expansion) to be the official ending?

He and Jul are going to come back to fight for a place for demons in this world or something? It does make sense considering Spirited Heart shares the setting.

Is there a chance for a better sale when the second game is out?

As things are right now I can't fully convinve myself to buy it yet, to much else on my wishlist at the moment to act on that price yet. Not sure if I would even have the time.

What was the biggest sale so far if I should be willing to wait?

It is quite a good game, I wish that it can either be longer, or made in a way for replayability! Still will buy it again in a microsecond!

Sooo since it's on sale and I enjoyed the demo back then when I was in the right mindset for the game, but I'm curious now if the dlc also offers aditional romances or how the dialogue for that is-

I don't suppose it will be a much bigger game than what I playe in the demo back then?

Castle of whatever? Oh yeah: Mesphit (the shirtless blue elf of many spoilers) & Chambara (that fun sarcastic witch from the swamp), Sauzer is a non-love interest party member (that nice monk with Naruto's hair).

Mesphit has a compelling arc is all about self determination. It ends up really challenging the main characters whole "this is fine" attitude to their enslaved status. He also continues to have no shirt. I'd say more but its all related to that spoiler laden plot thread of his that kind of wasn't really resolved in the main game.

Chambara doesn't actually need to learn anything. Her arc highlights some of the friction found when being yourself rubs others the wrong way. Having her around is kind of like being owned by a cat (yes, this is in the correct order). So pretty fun all around.

Sauzer is a chill guy, married to his job. Making friends with him was nice enough. Turns out he has a tragic backstory. Pretty sad actually.

Oh you can also choose between fighting a weird old necromancer lady, a vampire couple, a death knight who is not hurting anyone at all, or none of them. Each want you to kill one of the other or you can just not. You can also go on a weird quest to get the vampires a giant diamond, that was really fun.

^One of those outcomes actually results in the ending that Loren 2 will be picking up from.

Oh! And you get a Puppy! An actual dog. He can act as a party member in fights too and not a weak one either.

yeah, the three new personal quests are also pretty good. Yeah, the four new antagonists or ambiguous evil-ness are introduced in a long extended quest line.

I'm not sure if there's any other little things I'm missing as I got the DLC before getting very far at all into the base game. You see the DLC isn't an epilogue, the extra storylines can be accessed at any time between once you return to the Citadel after the war has started and when you go to face down Frost for the final time. After that you can seek out both the main quest and the three recruitment quests for the new party members.
