BARIS is a GREAT game; this being a BARIS clone, is not bad.
I still remember playing the Scott Adams adventure games as well can anyone guess my age? LOL
BARIS still is fantastic, despite basically being a dice roll luck game.
Grandpa! (am close to 40-ish myself, heh, Sinclair Spectrum nostalgia checking in!)
Damn I still remember drooling over the Sinclair how I loved thee.....overrated POS calculator. :-) lol
Spectrum was the best thing ever in my childhood, I still remember Roanoke, Beachhead, tir Na nog and of course Saboteur!!!!!111111oneoneone
Now, that said....you kids get off my lawn. :p
Well, i bought it on matrix. I have one other matrix game and I played it for countles hours.
Pretty much a coinflip at this point. Both very far from complete, both with very ambitious plans, and both with farily different takes on the space race. Personally, I vote strongly for "both" :-)
But in the meantime, anyone who's never played the original BARIS needs to immediately go snag the open source windows version and have at it. Should be able to kill a few months pretty easily and then can check back and see how well this has progressed. :-)
I cant wait!
