Dear Race to Mars players!
We're sorry that we didn't post any info about the game in recent months.
Our team was focused on developing another important project and it took so many resources that we really couldn't improve the game for you.
We hope that soon it will change and you will receive tons of new patches and updates for the game! We promise that Race to Mars will come back soon!
If this is 'soon', i'd hate to see their definition of later!
I found this:
http://omlgames.com/en/racetomars-ii.html
note the "II" in the adress line btw..
Regardless of whether or not they'll deliver the game, I hope it'll keep the same vibe that the original Intermarum alpha had. The sound and the atmosphere was strangely magical IMO, with all the incompleteness..
uhm... Good luck OML, I guess?..
EDIT: Oh crap, I missed the post in the News section.. My bad... I stopped paying attention to this title quite a while ago so no wonder I've missed it..
When the Game came out, the Gamers were mercilessly stung for their Money, withheld with false Promises, and at the End there was never a Refund.
Why should one believe that now?
Since it is written in a very questionable Statement and a flimsy Apology, all those who had previously bought, get a free Copy.
Alone the Word Copy sounds already doubtful.
It would not be the first Time that one tries in this Way, the Gamers "quiet" to make, so as not to have to read more, for the Developers unpleasant, Mails.
The Fact is that Steam had been notified of the Fraud and called for legal Action
They will not return Money, but anyone who bought RTM will get SCS (Space Company Simulator).
It should be similar to how RTM is constructed, but much more Graphics and more Details.
Release is scheduled for Q3 2019.
Direct quote from Tenchion the developer in the comments section of the latest status update:
If you prefer refund, please contact us: support@omlgames.com
They're liars and manipulators. If they're willing to lie about refunds then they're almost definitely willing to lie about remaking the entire game. You can't trust anything they say they're leading people on in the hopes we'll just forget.
I had a very long exchange with the developer over emails. After promising me a refund after I confirmed I would opt out of the future remake (Which is almost definitely not happening) he never sent the money and never replied to me again. My last message was in January promising a refund, and guess what, still nothing. Won't even reply to my messages any more. They're weasels and con-artists.
Its coming! Its coming!
