It is. I've looked into the save format a bit, and it appears to just be a JSON configuration file that has been encoded using base 64. If you open up the save file and copy the text, you can paste it into a base 64 decoder, modify the contents, then re-encode and save it. Note that this is for Linux. It may be different for Windows and Mac.

Maybe that's what went wrong for me. Or maybe I just haven't full grasped it yet. I've been attempting the decode/encode methods past threads with no success.
