i made dash challenge (also beat the game) with key rebind: dash/RMB and shoot/space

I had the same problem. I used the suggested autohotkey command above and it would start the chain dashes for me, but after a varying number of chains it would mess up the timing and drop off (never seeming to go higher than 180 chains, but usually dropping off below 100).

I did manage to fix it by modifying the parameters as folllows:

#+X::
SetKeyDelay, 160, 100
Send {SPACE 3000}
Return

The first number after SetKeyDelay is the time between presses, and after experimenting with lowering the value without success, I raised it slightly to 160 and that did the trick. Just in case, I lowered the other number to 100, since that one is only the key press time, which doesn't need to be very long. After a few initial hiccups in getting the chain started, it stayed consistent throughout and didn't prematurely drop off. Hope that helps!

A lot of people suggested the Auto Hot Key script suggested by Hydelon, which is this:

So I managed to get AHK to work with it after some tweaking. I found it most reliable when you make sure the key press has a delay too.

I found this to work really well. If you want to do it legit with KB and Mouse, I suggest binding dash to another key since space can be a little tricky.

none of this crap works, so don't even bother wasting your time. the authors were too lazy to even include basic instructions, for people even attempting to utilize said junk.

it worked in my notepad(at least), but it doesn't work on the actual GAME

are you seriously having that hard of a time with that challenge? I did it twice, once to get to 800 and second time to see how far I could get. All you need to do is to get the rhythm down. Depending on how fast you tap spacebar again determines the speed of the next tap.. Turning off game audio helps because audio of the dash is helpful for keeping the rhythm. Why do you use cheats in a game like this for a fkn unlock? That's just sad. Also, learning how the chain dash works and being consistent in it (it feels very incosistent if you dont practice it) makes a lot of difficult fights really easy.
But if you want to cheat its up to you, I'm familiar with ahk and from what I'm reading for most of you the scripts dont work because you're using wrong Send commands... Ahk supports multiple types of input. Try sendplay and other variations. Having the game in windowed also has an inpact on how ahk sends input.

I tried mouse/keyboard for a bit and just put the cursor on the stamina recharge thing and that seemed to work fine. I mean, I'm NOT going to do it like that but it does make things way easier because you don't have to put any attention on turning.

PS:I'm stressed, need tutorials and my fingers can't handle this ***ing challenge

This worked for me but im brand new to the whole hot key thing. Can someone tell me how to stop it once it starts. Im not sure if i need to add another command or press the same buttons again (tried that but it didn't work). If someone could help me it would be very much appreciated

This one worked for me fine too. The previous ones stop the dash at 40-50. This one got me the modul and the costume together.
I am new to this hotkeying, so anyone could help to make the dash stop? I can only stop it, with quiting the game, so this is not a long-term solution.
