It's just not fair if your computer can't keep up with the inputs. I only managed to go up to 160 after hours of trying.
:(
Also, it seems that the input system is not very reliable. There's some sort of lag that adds up over time, and the key / button presses get out of sync very fast. Something to do with the GameMaker engine perhaps?
Just tested that theory with a macro, let the counter climb to 1200 and figured that was enough. After the initial 10 dashes, the timing stays consistent. (At least within .05 seconds.)
I would say software or hardware issue on user end, laggy input, or even the buttons themselves not being consistent, or are maybe worn out?
I use a Razer Sabertooth controller. Unlike the microsoft 360, my A,B,X,Y buttons are not pressure resistant. They *click* instantly like mouse buttons. (there is no depth to the downstroke. Its on / off within like half a milimeter, maybe try? they are a little pricey though, but you have 6 additional buttons that can be bound as any of the original buttons)
I found easier to not look to the screen while doing because you can still get distracted with the numbers and movement. Focused only on the soft pressing and it worked like a charm. Could've probably done more, but I knew 800 was enough.

The character does perfect dashes in a rectangle around the arena while you go get a drink. Stop him when you are content with the astronomical number. Or dont.
Thank YOUUUU!!!!!
Set dash to slash, turn off music, and close your eyes. the dash sound effect is a good indicator for frequency.
EDIT: Also, it begins to sound like a steam train after a while.
I just pressed space and went to do something else. Came back with 950 dashes.
It seems that they fixed that exploit. Now if you don't move the mouse the "stamina bar" that's at the left top corner will drain before you reach 15 dashes...
EDIT: Oh, nevermind. Figured out the purpose of the buttons on the floor. Sorry for my ignorance :/
Just for cosmetics, but with a really useful effect
Good to know. I have better things than 800 dashes in a row to do! LOL
I tough the same hahaah
