Order of Upgrades (Also question on dash slash)
I got the Chain Dash first, Projectile reflection second, and the single grenade third. But uh, there seems to be more than one "Dash slash", one from the sword trainer and another from the dash trainer. Is there a difference between the two of them?

The one from the sword trainer cuts through enemies. The one from the dash man stabs an enemy and launches them, dealing another point of damage if they smack into something or another enemy who also loses one point of damage.

Ah, is there a recommendation on which one I should get? Also, the charge attack on the sword I assume does increased damage?

The charge slash does at least 5 damage (1-shots the spear dudes), not sure the exact amount. I definitely think it's a must-have.

Ugh, too many good abilities, not enough gear bits.

The charge swing does massive damage but leaves you wide open when using it, so you have to strategically deploy it. I personally have only purchased the dash poke or shield stab as I called it in the Preview Build because of how it instantly took down the shield on any enemies that had it.

From what I can tell after just purchasing the one from the sword trainer, the move dashes through enemies and damages them once the animation is finished. The one from the dash man you just poke the enemy, you dont go through them, but it can launch them and give you breathing room.

So the difference is being able to pass through enemies, or pushing them away from you. Hm. Choices.

Both moves cost half a bar's worth of energy to use. The sword one can be done from a standstill while the poke is done after a dash, or in the middle of a dash, or at the start of a dash depending on when you press the attack button. The poke adds up to half a bar with the dash required to use the move.

I was wrong on the poke dash, that move can apparently do up to at least three points of damage it seems.

Jesus, make it as least five now. I just used it on an enemy and they hit the first object, then used it's curviture to smack into another object dealing a second two points of damage totaling up to five!
