How short is the game?

The game itself was a lot more fun than the preview build(for obvious reason), don't really want it to end too soon.

Though indie games these days are extremely short(roughly 3-5 hours long), so how about this game, how short is it?

It's around 2 hours long give or take.

I take that if you rush from the beginning to the end it'd take 2 hours? that was extremely short tho but that'd be double or triple the time for me I guess, I spent 1.7 hours yesterday wandering around killing stuff and havn't even reach the boss yet(about to, pretty soon).

i played two hours, i finished the north region (i think ? more or less) and explored a bit the west one. i'm pretty sure the north one is the easiest and the fastest. i don't even know if the game end when you cleared the 4 regions so...

First blind playthrough, scraping every wall for secrets and trying to be thorough; I've already got 4 hours and I've only completed 2 bosses and activated 12/32 pink beacons or whatever you want to call them.

I'd have to guess probably 8 to 10 hours at this rate, significantly less if I stop giving a ♥♥♥♥ about finding 100% of secrets.

I'm 5 hours in and I have the West, North, and East bosses beaten. Each one took about 3 tries, and I haven't really gotten stuck on any parts except maybe an hour of extra wondering around the West dungeon looking for one particularly well hidden secret. I have no clue how long the endgame will be but I'd imagine I can finish it up in the next 2 to 3 hours. However there seems to be a TON of secret keys and various riff raff to find. Of the ones I've found they seem like some can bery very well hidden so I would guess if you wanted to get everything out of this game it'll run you 10 to 15 hours. But I would say an average player would take at LEAST 5 to 7 hours. I really can't imagine anyone finishing in 2 hours unless they do NO exploring at all.

How impatient do you have to be that a 1 second long animation makes you unhappy?

I currently am 5-6 hours into the game and have finished one boss. I explored everything and tried my hardest to find everything in the 1/4 of the game that I have completed and it is great fun. With the pace I am going I estimate my playthrough will finish at around 16-20 hours.

I think every second counts when you repeatitively dying and needed to rush your goal just to finish/die again, that frustration.

Yeah, that's my usual pace when it's come to exploring and stuff, I think I did spend like 8+ hours on 1st episode of Life is Strange and 10+ hours on Transistor.

It took me about 8 hours to beat the game. There was some exploring, and I did get a bunch of extra triangles and keys, but I did not unlock everything.

8 Hours in, beaten the west, north and east boss, looking for all the secrets but still got a lot to do in those regions(get each corner piece, open all key doors, etc) and then there's still south.
As long as you don't rush and just look for things it'll easily get over 10 hours.
