Kickstarter Exclusive Content? Are you kidding?

Giving Kickstarter backers a skin puts a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Why are the devs valuing some gamers above others? Just because a person backed a Kickstarter, does NOT mean they deserve extra cosmetic items. It is not my fault i did not know the game existed, why punish me? Why punish me for buying the game when it releases, instead of blinding throwing money at a dev? I deserve to have 100 percent of the game that i paid for, not 99.9 percent. Thoughts?

It's just a nice reach-out gesture to the people that made this game possible with their wallets before it fully took shape.
As far as I know, this extra skin is purely cosmetic and only available after beating the game one time, so who actually cares?

I agree, It doesn't matter if "it's just a skin" we should be able to get it, exclusive "VIP" content is always a seed of toxicity among players, It would be fair if we could just buy the extra skin as DLC even if the price was very high.

Because they made sure the game was developed.

Kickstarters made the game possible. If you are jelouse for that you don't understand that you woulden't be able to play the game if they haden't backed it back then. Reconsider your priorities. You should be gratefull that peopel supported the game so you can play it now.

Also I'm sure they had to pay far more than its current price. I recall Golden Beck being like $80 or so during the Mighty No.9 KS.

I think you're overestimating how much that skin is worth by implying it's 0.01% of the game. It's nothing but a gesture to backers.

lol so many kids crying for this game. I am surprised as it has pixelart and kids with cool PCs dont play pixelart games.
anyway as other said, we supported this game on KS 3 years ago and waited for it. I am happy devs can thank their supporters this way by giving them some extra items/skins etc. (btw if you support on KS usually you have to choose higher tier which costs more money to get the item) which are basically useless, also this game is single player only so it doesnt give you any advantage over other players.
I remember how much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we had to read for Pilars of eternity as devs gave us Kickstarter backer achievement and kids who didnt support game on KS started crying they can not complete the game :)))))

anyway, lesson learned for you is to watch KS and support games for future

Thoughts as a non-backer, that skin is a gift from the developers to the people who actually made the game possible at all. Sure your purchase will fund future development, but you weren't there 3 years ago to make the dream come alive

Either the dev will have it as a DLC later on or someone *might* make a mod for it. It's simply a skin so I'm personally not bothered by it
