Cheat codes? God mode?

Hi all. I love the art direction and storytelling in this game, but I'm hopeless at action/arcade games and find them insufferably frustrating. Is there a way to play through this game with some sort of god mode on, so that I can enjoy the art and story in a stress-free manner?

While I'd love at least a more Casual difficulty mode, previous threads suggest that's likely not happening.

I would guess fans would argue that "Zelda Meets Dark Souls" is baked into the game's core DNA so tightly that pulling the Dark Souls Rage Screaming Difficulty :-) out of the game altogether would essentially make it no longer Hyper LIght Drifter.

Good point. But seeing as I have no tolerance for such difficulty I may have just wasted $20. Thanks for the input.

I think you can refund if you've played for less than 2 hours.

You could try to find a playthrough with no commentary on youtube, that might work
