I'm glad you are enjoying the game!
I never had any troubles out of it at 30fps. It's funny, and sad, that the same people who hated on 30fps are now acting like the game's been awesome all along. They're petulent, childish technophiles. 2D games in particular don't need 60fps, but instead they (like all games) need consistent framerate, which this game has had since it came out.
I agree consitency is more important. I can't sit any further away from the screen though.. I have a large desk, very deep. Honestly I could feel it straight away.. at the same time I can play Enter the Gungeon for hours and have no ill effects.. it's the only game I have to equate this to.
