Solar Ash Kingdom only on "that" store?

Saw the trailer of Heart Machine's new game and i got to say it looks good, but the logo of "that" store took away any excitement i might have had for this game. Don't think the bigger revenue "that" store provides is worth shooting yourself in the foot and not have bigger sales with the bigger audience that steam provides.

I imagine it's a publisher decision completely out of Alex Preston's hands, since Annapurna Interactive published another game also timed exclusive to it.

Game got pushed back a year (from whatever its release date was going to be) for all I care.

Aside from that logo s store , arent you guys exicted ? The game looks like it is going to be as hard and based on fast movement :o also since it is the sae universe i wonder if there will be connections

What would i be excited for if i can t play it on steam?

You can always buy it , then link it to steam , it will be in your library , just no achievements , leaderboards , cards , discussion , community , ect

All the things that make it good having it on steam to not have them if i buy it in another place. Why would i go and do that?

On the plus side, I won't feel compelled to buy it right away so I can see whether Zoe's narration abilities have gotten any more subtle over the years.

I don't damn her by principle; I believe anyone in her position should have a chance to get out of the hole she dug herself in. When you get caught in a place where you're basically a walking controversy, you're trapped there which can affect your ability to get a job or do anything not related to it, and your options are either:

1. Embrace the controversy such as people like Anita Sarkeesian have and live off it.
2. Change your public image by going against it (the hardest; the internet is petty as hell and has long memory).
3. Change your identity.

Yep, pretty much this. SJWs are poison.

While I do think that what Vandal Savant says is noble and you should give people a chance, but SJWs have proven countless times that they ruin everything they touch.

What a rollercoaster, noticed the announcement, got excited, saw epic store, got discouraged immediately because egs = "ok so release date +1 year then", learn that SJW are involved, excitement totally gone.

Just want to note that when people with mouse symbols next to their names - your actual PAYING CUSTOMERS - start to hate on your next game, maybe you're doing something very wrong.

And while big boys like Bethesda, EA or Disney can basically give their fans a middle finger since they have enormous amounts of fat, I don't think little guys like Heart Machine can survive if their current fans turn away.

As for me - I won't be pirating the game. I'm literally too disgusted with SJWs to have anything to do with it.
